This beach villa was incredible and offered fantastic value for the stunning view. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, going the extra mile by noticing both of our birthdays from our passports and surprising us with birthday cakes on two occasions – a thoughtful, personal gesture. Toward the end of our stay, a lightbulb blew in our room, which wasn’t a big issue for us, but to apologize, they treated us to a floating breakfast/lunch by our pool. It was such a generous touch, especially since we hadn’t complained. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Koh Samui looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The beach was almost entirely ours for the whole week!

From the personal to the room and location itself very very nice. You not always see such friendly stuff. Reception is quick, friendly and make all you wishes come true. The restaurant staff und der Barkeeper itself is also very friendly and the drinks are phenomenal! We cleaned our room just once but the housekeeping is taking his job with heart and do so many small details in cleaning that I was very fascinated about it. I’m working in a hotel and I can say that I look very closely on everything. I must say everything was more than perfect! We will come back for sure and for longer :)

The room was weml furnished and in a good state. It was in a calm neighbourhood. The beach was just in front of our pool, which was pretty quiet and far from being crouded

The place is truly a home away from home. All details have been thought through to ensure you are comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and simplistic yet luxurious. The staff goes way above and beyond to ensure you are looked after, feel at home, and have everything you need. I cannot emphasis enough on how beautiful the pool area and seaviews from the room are. It's a bit away from the city centre, but for me that was a positive. I am not the party every night kind and needed my peace, which this place has plenty of. However it is not at all secluded. There is a 7-11 right across the road, many food joints in walking distance and awesome spas walking distance too. Laundry and scooter rental is available with them and right across the street as well. The staff helps arrange for or help you find anything and everything. I will be back to Koh Samui just to stay here and meet these awesome people again!

It was such a beautiful villa with private pool overlooking the sea and its just a stone throw away to the beaches. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even made the room for us since it is our anniversary 🥹 Quite further away from the airport but it was a quite town if you want to unwind and relax. Easy access just opposite there is a convenience store and 7-11. Few walks down there are seafood restaurants. And the resort breakfast was so good!

White whale was absolutely phenomenal. We arranged for them to pick us up at the airport which went so smoothly and we were picked up in an incredibly nice luxury van. On arrival they checked us in directly in our room with welcome drinks and then gave us a tour of the property. The rooms are absolutely stunning and have everything you could need. Breakfast at the restaurant was included in our stay and was so delicious. The pool was clean and so relaxing with direct beach access as well. The staff worked so hard to make sure we had a perfect stay. We also noticed them cleaning up the beach in the morning which we loved. I would highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to return someday

Such a peaceful stay, despite being in the beachfront it felt very private. The room was so beautiful - clean, spacious and with a gorgeous view! The staff were wonderful, especially at the front desk. Coffees were amazing! The property was well placed on the beach with excellent cafes, restaurants and massage places within walking distance.

The villa was beautiful and all the facilities made it a wonderful 5 star. It’s possible to enjoy beautiful sunsets and breakfast was exceptional. We spent three lovely days.

All staff were outstanding particularly Pat and Ouiee (spelling is probably incorrect). Breakfast was nice (best caffe latte I found in Samui). The building is 3 years old and hardly used due to COVID. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower and toilet have glass doors so you will have no privacy from your partner. If this is an issue, this is not the place for you. The beach is just metres away from the room past the plunge pool. The building is next to the link road however there is not a huge amount of traffic and it is quite sound proof. I occasionally heard passing scooters but never at night. They have a canoe and stand up paddle board for use free of charge and also rent out scooters. The beach is nice however the water is not very deep. It is much deeper further east. I was told that the water is even shallower in March/April. It is not a particularly busy area compared to Chaweng or Lamai however there are several nice restaurants along the beach. So if you are after a quiet holiday and can afford the price, I highly recommend the White Whale.
